New Project- 59 Apache - dash empty of switches

Hey gang, new to the forum.... I recently got a 59 Apache, it has the tri -angle gauge cluster, but no other switches, what goes in each hole left to right? Truck is on an 86 Monte Carlo Chasis, with a 350 and a 700R4...
Took the truck completely apart, except cab from chassis, cleaned and painted chassis, cleaned chrome suspension, smoothed the firewall on the engine side, re-installed suspension and engine, will be moving to body work next...

If they are on your computer, scroll down below this open box to "manage attachments". that will open a window that lets you browe on your computer for up to 5 pics per post. The loader will resize within reason, if its too big you will get an error message. Accepts the standard formats, JPG show up a pictures, PDF as links.

Re: New Project- 59 Apache - dash empty of switches

Tilt forward hood.... The hood does not work well and I am thinking of putting it back to original.... But i am going to try to sort it out before I switch back... It really tears up the paint on the fenders and cowl... I am currently on Bussiness travel... I'll take pictures when I get home...

Re: New Project- 59 Apache - dash empty of switches

I found a picture of the hinge set-up... really jerry rigged, if i use it, I will have to completely re-build for stability and function, both on the hood and at the core support...

Re: New Project- 59 Apache - dash empty of switches

I see lots of room for thing to shift and get out of alignment. I never understood the rear opening hood, seems it just makes it harder to get to stuff to work on it.

Re: New Project- 59 Apache - dash empty of switches

Thanks....Well yes and no... When I bought it, it was already on a Monti frame... seems to fit OK, you have to cut the inside of the cab to fit over the Monti frame which is wider than the stock frame.... Have not had it out on the road yet, hopeing to have i done by next fall...
You can check my other posts for more pictures... and more going up soon... will also be posting a few of my Camaro per request...
