It's a sickness! The addiction grows, 1963 Burban.
Well I put a motor on craigslist for sale for $1200.00 bucks and got a offer for a trade for a 1963 chevy Suburban. Body wise its pretty clean pantina original paint only rust I can find so far is the passenger corner of the hood. Not sure what i'm gonna do with it, sell or part out? I could use the front fenders, but the rest is up in the air! Let me know what you guys think of the burban that just fell in my lap! Oh yeah I forgot to mention I got the motor I had on craigslist for sell for free. So I got a free burban! My wife is loving this, 1966 CHEVY short bed bbw in the backyard, 1966 GMC moorhome and 1963 CHEVY Suburban in the drive way, and 1964 short bed rolling Porterbuilt complete chassis in the garage! I'm feeling pretty good right now.

DUUUUUDE! Dont cut that Burban up! Its perfect just the way it is.
I would buy it and slam a healthy 396 into it or maybe even a 348W engine with tri-power! Put an engine in it and drive it! |

Re: It's a sickness! The addiction grows, 1963 Burban.
ummm...since you got it for free, you could just donate it to me...and you wouldn't be out any money .....looks really solid, and i like the original paint/patina...i hate to see you let that one go (if you do)...seems everyone is jumping on the "build-a-burb" bandwagon these days, so why not you too? haha

I don't think you'll have a hard time moving that Burb, but I am partial to Burb's.
An understanding wife is always a plus, I tell my wife I'm not a hoarder but a curator of vintage vehicles for future generations. She's yet to really buy that but it sounds good... |
