Factory 454???

Anyone know the last year for a 454 in a half ton SWB? Looking at a 1978 and the owner says it's a factory big block.

BTW, HOLY COW!!! That is pretty nice, the whole passenger side is rusted though, nothing a little patching wouldn't help....

Would the frame mounted motor mounts for the BB from the 78 fit my 86? My dad told me a guy he works with has a 396 for $500.00! I think that would be awesome to drop that in.

Yeah, bolt in. Just take them off the SBC and put them on the BBC.
