1/4" brake line - Bulkhead fitting?

Got to re-route my line that feeds the rear brakes, I have to pass through
the frame (not boxed). Is there an inverted flare fitting for this purpose, or do I have to convert to AN and back again?

Cheers
RW

Is it a bulkhead fitting or something else?

Re: 1/4" brake line - Bulkhead fitting?

I just ask for brake fittings whether it be a t, 4 way, coupling, ect and they have always had the inverted flare on the inside so that they wouldnt leak....

Re: 1/4" brake line - Bulkhead fitting?

I have never seen a brake line fitting made for bulkheads and NAPA does not carry them or have access to one. I suspect that converting to AN is going to be your option.

FyI all, I found a company called Swagelok. They have fittings for metal tube
high pressure (like say 60,000lbs/in.), made for aerospace and nuclear plants etc. Plan to head there tomorrow. Heres the link

I have used inlinetube.com quite a bit, and have been very satisfied with their products and service.

Speedway does have alot of goodies, not quite what I'm looking for.

Went to Swagelok today. They have fittings for various tubing sizes, elbows,
T's etc. Stainless Steel or Brass, high pressure. No flaring required - they have a double-ferrule design that clamps the tubing. Adaptors for changing tube sizes too.
