86 Lowering Question
Well, spring is here and that means it time to lower the truck.
It's a 1986 Chevy Silverado and I want to do a 5/5 drop on it. I want to do spindles and springs up front and a flip kit in the back. Can someone please recommend the best parts to do this with. Mostly concerned with the front spindles because I don't want to change the tire spacing in or out like I hear that some do. I also want to keep my factory steel rallies. Thanks in advance, Ratman |

Re: 86 Lowering Question
I prefer the Mcgaughy suspension components. They are reasonably priced and a very good product. They have a 2.5" drop spindle, 2" drop coils & a rear flip kit.

Re: 86 Lowering Question
I like Belltech products for the 73-87 trucks.

Re: 86 Lowering Question
All the drop spindles will move your wheel out slightly,... with the exception of CPP's Modular 2" drop spindles.
(from what I have read) I've never installed a set of these myself.
