Vintage Air Installation...

I am installing a Vintage Air kit in my '69 and running into a problem. I shaved my fire wall and decided to use a bulk head fitting for the freon lines and heater hoses. I am having a problem making up the lines for inside the cab from the evaporator/heater core to the bulk head fitting. I mounted the bulk head fitting approximately in the same location the lines suppiled with the kit would have passed through the fire wall. I am using Aeroquip fittings, the tightest bend fitting they offer is 135* and the Vintage Air hard lines supplied with the kit have 180* bends. Has anyone installed Vintage Air with a bulk head fitting instead of using the supplied lines for the evaporator? How did you solve the line connection issue? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

He ran his lines hidden and I think he had to use a bulkhead fitting setup but I could be mistaken
I think somewhere around pages 15-20 is the AC install if I remember correctly.
