Spare Tire Mount
Anybody tried to mount a 35-12.50x15 behind the seat. This is a 31-10.50 and I am thinking about going to 35s but looking at spare tire mounts. It does not appear that it will fit. Just wanted to know if I am going to have to think about installing a swing out carrier.

Re: Spare Tire Mount
I dont think that it would fit with out shiming the entire carrier up a bit, I'm in the same boat as you but with 33s. Also, is your window shattered?

Re: Spare Tire Mount
I didn't think it would, because the centerline on a 35 is just about in line with the top of the seat and the top of the tailgate, which happens to be the shortest distance between the two. Just I would see if someone had gotten one to fit. And yes, the back half of my passanger side slider is shattered. Some little twit through a rock through it. I am going to replace it with solid glass, since the sliders will have to be completely refitted with all new rubber and felt, and I have two very nice solid glass windows.

Re: Spare Tire Mount
Well, You can fit one on the carrier, but the rear seat will just barely not recline and lock into position.
