fixed my repop door today

This is what I did to fix the door hitting at the curve and the front corner, worked well for both areas

The last ones I did I just took the top hoop of off the original doors and put on the repops, worked great.

I did the same thing on a pair of doors that came off a dump truck! I had a gap of 1/2" at the top when I mounted them. I drilled out all the spot welds(as you did) put the top loop where I wanted it and welded her home! Glad you stayed with it! cheers, Pat

Yeah, sometimes they don't weld things in the right place. Good job.

I replaced doors on frod once, the skins weren't even welded to the shell.

They were lmc doors. Can't blame the door the original door hit at the same places.
