4 wheel drive label on Glovebox door

Has anyone recreated/remanufactured the 4 wheel drive operation label that goes on the outside of the glovebox door?
Its for a 1972 Blazer.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Check out LMC Truck or Classic Auto Parts. Both of them are here in the KC area, but it seems like one of them has just about every decal possible.

Did the 72's have them even? My 72 Does not, and I don't see any evidence of it ever being there. LMC catalog doesn't list them for 72 or 71

I think you are right, 70 and prior had it. I think 4x4 emblems were also on the front fenders.

My 72 has an emblem on the glove box door, but it's a CST emblem.

They were moved inside the glove box in 72-71, on the left side of the rear panel. It was still the same sticker. Hope that helps

Not there on mine, other than the original CST emblem that is still there.

I'm thinking the CST option took presidence over the 4x4 emblem if that option was checked off??

I think this is what you may be looking for. It appears that my 72 may have had this on the inside of the glove box at one time.

Re: 4 wheel drive label on Glovebox door

The stickers are seldom seen on the 71'-72's. The transfer case knob had the pattern on it in 71-72. 70' and prior did not have the pattern, thus having the need for the sticker. The 4x4 emblem on the fenders stopped in 70'.

Thanks! I wondered why my '70 didn't have a pattern on the knob.

Now I know, and knowing is half the battle!

Re: 4 wheel drive label on Glovebox door

Good info on the labels/transfer case knob.
My 4 speed knob had no pattern on it, originally thouught it was just worn out, This make me think its actually a pre 70 tansfer case knob...

Re: 4 wheel drive label on Glovebox door

Good info on the transfer case knobs/4wd labels; makes sense to not use a label when the pattern is on the knob.
My 4 speed had a perfectly smooth knob, I thought it strange how it had worn off the shift pattern so perfectly.
Now I suspect that it was probably a pre 72 tranfer case knob on the tranny shifter.
