250 6 Cyl PS Brackets

Came off a '76 Nova- so I believe would be the integrated head.
$65 shipped to Continental US.
MO Preferred.
Please reply in thread.

Re: 250 6 Cyl PS Brackets

I could be wrong, but I thought the integrated head didn't come out until 1980? If so and these are from the earlier 250 with the separate intake, I will take them. I will see what I can find out.

The 250 in my truck is from a 78 Nova and has the integrated head.

Re: 250 6 Cyl PS Brackets

Yep, I did a little searching and '75 was the first year for the integrated head. My lack of knowledge of the I6's is showing

I was just remembering years ago when a guy I worked with bought a brand new 1980 K10 with the 250 in it. He was going on and on about the dam POS integrated head on that engine.

So sorry to say DPowers, I'm going to have to pass on these as they won't work for my application.

Re: 250 6 Cyl PS Brackets

Im sure you'd rather have a buyer but all the extra input is informative for the buyer and it adds a B U M P without you having to do it! I'd be interested since the PO threw out the PS stuff when they installed this boat anchor in my manual steering truck but I have my eyes set on a bigger motor and a PS swap to go along with it.

Sold the Burban so no BBC swap for me. I am in the middle of a small buying frenzy so I may pick this stuff up from you when the smoke clears. TTT for ya!

Re: 250 6 Cyl PS Brackets

You can use the intergrated head bracket on a non-integrated head.... They just require a lil bit of trimming to make them fit. I did mine 20 years ago
