1965 Tow Vehicle

I thought some of you would like to see a throw back type of photo. This is my buddy, Brian Wilson's 65 C-10. He used his truck as the tow vehicle for my funny car at Speedworld Drag Strip in Arizona this past weekend.

Re: 1965 Tow Vehicle

Thanks! We weren't able to make the clutch adjustments we wanted (data logger wasn't working), so the car only ran 7.20s et.

vin63,
Thanks for the post & the link. I definately plan on making it down to Steve Barcak's Pontiac Heaven meet one of these days. I can't believe how many Pontiac People are on this site. Here's a couple pics of our 62 Catalina. Complete with 50 year old interior & steering wheel. I used to park cars in San Francisco for a living many years ago, I can still park them close.

You really need to...it's a lot of fun. Steve's Fall event is also a really cool get-together - here's a link: http://pontiacheaven.org/PBO_Fall_Fest.html

Man, that is close. That is one of my favorite year Cats...very nice! Here's my Tempest with the orginal interior...I'm having the orignal custom steering wheel restored (same as your deluxe steering wheel, but with a '61 horn ring), since all of the clear plastic deteriorated and fell apart (they don't hold up well in the convertibles), so the one in it now is temporary - the only non-orginal interior part.
