Belt on compressor to tight?
The belt on my ac compressor was really loose. I tightened it up amd itmseems my ac isnt blowing cool. Im not sure if this is coincidence or its to tight. Anyone have any input?

Are you running R112 or R134? What year? Is the compressor kicking on?

Did you accidentally unplug a vacuum line? when you turn it on do you hear a click when the gates open? is the clutch engaging?

there should be no relevence if the belt is too tight.. the belt will stretch some.. Im guessing wither you have loosened or disconnected the compressor wires or you have another problem within the system
