What shocks are these?
When I bought my truck, it had these shocks in the back. Each one has an air line ran to a "t" that goes back to the back cross sill where it ends in a tire valve of sorts. I'm assuming the height is adjustable by putting air in or taking it out the valve in the back. Is this right? I've never had an adjustable suspension before, so I'm not sure.

a very common accessory for trucks and station wagons// air shocks help to somewhat lift a sagging rearend
available from GM back in the day and numerous aftermarket suppliers still available in autoparts stores

Re: What shocks are these?
They also help when towing. I put them on ALL my trucks.

Re: What shocks are these?
Yeah they are air shocks they work good if you tow,But most used them to cheaply lift a saggy rear suspension on cars and trucks.

Re: What shocks are these?
Thanks for all the replies. I don't usually haul things in my truck and if I do, it's usually not much. If I let some air out, it should drop the back suspension a little, right? It's a little higher than the front.

Re: What shocks are these?
trucks never set level from the factory// those air shocks should always b aired up at least 10-15lbs minimum for them to work properly and to not wear out the seals
