Shout out to Rokcrln's bed shortening skills!

Just wanted to say how great this site is. The amount of tips, tricks and information is never ending along with the great members. I just read Rokcrln's low buck truck build and used his bed shortening methods this evening! 3 hours later and it's ready to weld. Enjoy!

Nice to see you wearin a dust mask! Those cut off wheels (dust) are killers! That cab does look pretty big....

Re: Shout out to Rokcrln's bed shortening skills!

Thanks for all the compliments guys! Got the box all tacked back together this afternoon, and plan on finish welding it tomorrow. Cab in the back is a 69 gmc that was converted by a coach company back in the early 70s. It was almost beyond repair when I got it. Rust coming through the firewall. Rust above the windshield from one end to the other. Cab supports and floor were half rusted away, was sagging in the middle enough for the doors to bind. Anyway, now it's 100 percent solid and starting to look good again. Going on an 01 cummins drivetrain, with 09 chevy ltz interior. Going to be my daily when shes done!
