Question '87 V30 suspension lift on '88 V30??

Will a suspension lift made for a 1987 V30 4x4 fit on a 1988 V30 4x4, i dont think there is any difference in the chassis or spring set up in the 2. And there are a wide variety of lifts for the 87 that dont exist for the 88. Just wondering if i spent more money than i needed to on my recent lift kit i bought for a 88 v30. thanks

I believe the lift is the same the reason most don't offer it for a 88 is because they think in 88 the body style changed,It did and didn't most don't know they kept the old body tell 91.

Re: '87 V30 suspension lift on '88 V30??

Thanks guys, but i did a little research on it and noticed all the model number on the lift kits matched, but they just charged alot more for the ones that said for a 88 model. I bought a better 4" kit for $200 dollars cheaper than the 3.5 inch kit i had ordered. Luckily it was on back order so i cancelled my order and re ordered the one for the 87 V30 4x4, saved lots of money. Thanks for you help guys!

Thanks man! The truck I am building i am going for the "stock" look, other than the suspension lift, everything else is gonna be as close to stock as possible. I need another truck to go all out on. Come and see my build thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=516872, the pic in paint i did is what i am after, prob going to keep the color it is.

Only thing i can think of that is a must is a steering box brace http://offroaddesign.com/ has a bolt in one and a weld in if needed.
