4WD vs. 2WD Body Tub

Hey Guys,

I have a '75 4WD Blazer and the body tub is rustier than I originally thought. I have located a '74 2WD with a much better body tub. Can I use the 2WD body tub, or are there differences?

Or, would it be easier to put my drivetrain and front diff under the 2WD and make it a 4WD?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Brian

body is the same on a 2wd and 4wd but the 2wd is worth more than a 4wd drive for they are rare 73-75 are the same body 76 they started the half top I think the 76-78 tub will work they change the floor in 79 I think and it won't work on your frame maybe someone will step and correct me if I am wrong

Okay, thanks for the reply. I know the floor right behind the front seats changed in '79. But, I'm not sure if the mounting points on the frame would have changed for that reason or not.

Thanks, Brian
