Repaired and Repainted Med. Blue Steer Wheel

Cash3481 has first dibs since I originally started this for him. This wheel began with minor cracks which I ground out for good adhesion and then filled with epoxy resin. Then it was carefully sanded and shaped using a Dremel rotary tool. Prepped with adhesion promoter then shot with HIGH QUALITY acrylic enamel paint which was color matched to a 72 med. blue door panel. The structural integrity is all there. Very slight grain but the color and overall look is WHOAH!!! I will be doing many of these in the future. Need cores!!! One crack still present in housing portion.

$100 shipped CONUS

I would be interested in a saddle wheel for my 71, let me know if you decide to do one that color. Thanks Chris

Re: Repaired and Repainted Med. Blue Steer Wheel

Lol... I always like getting money. I'll answer in the thread. I had someone ask about the front suspension shipping and I just got another truck. 68 lwb 1/2 ton. It's too nice to part so it's selling whole after I fix a few things.

That turned out really nice... I may have to go through you for my replacement wheel! Mine is medium blue as well, but I am without a donor.
