Turner Enterprises
I just got off the phone with Bill Turner. They are workin on a catalog right now. Bill is a very cool guy. I told him what I was runnin and the problem (bump steer with 3 inch springs). He gave me all the options, pros and cons of each, even helped me get a game plan going on doing it in steps. Hes got alot of knowledge about the ins and out of our suspension setups.

I went down to Bill's Place last weekend. I got his tubular control arms, drop spindles and disc brake kit. He's got some pretty good ideas too. I saw alot of stuff that I will be buying from him. But some of the stuff I plan on making myself. I have pictures of his crossmember and control arms if anybody want to see it.

Is that a single arm on the upper mount?

I also have the same parts in the pic from Bill turner. I have got to know him very well in the last few months or so. He is a great guy. The lower arms are tricky to mount up but do offer a lower front end as the arm sits about a inch or so into the member versus the stock a arm. I recently purchased a bolt on 4 link kit from Bill and I am waiting for it.

These pics are just to show that by removing the lower portion of your member you can sit the truck even lower without body dropping it. This piece will be fully welded and smoothed. Also check out the way the arms mount vs stock!!

I found his ad last year and decided to give a call for a catalog. The phone # was wrong. Then, I decided to write them. I look at the ad again and no zip code. So I did a search and found the zip. I sent a letter stating I wanted a catalogue and also for them to come and visit the boards. I havent heard or gotten anything.

Just out of curiosity, what does cutting the bottom out of the xmember gain you? Looks like the a-arm mounts will sit lower than the bottom of the xmemeber after making this modification. Can you please explain?
Thanks!

If you only cut the crossmember down it does nothing -because your arms sit lower. If you buy his tubular lower control arms they MOUNT 1- 3/4" higher in the crossmember thus now your control arms no longer hit the ground first. So then you are hanger up on is the crossmeber will be hitting the ground. Now cut your crossmember down and the truck will go lower. Now this will only work if your bag mounts are not limiting you. With these control arms, drop spindles, and bags if set up right will just about put the rocker panel on the ground. I will be doing the same to mine as soon as my parts come in from Bill

Am I missing something? Your welded in plate don't seem any lower than the original plate that you cut out. Can you take a front view picture of it (as in from the front of the truck if it were installed)..... might show it better.
