Re: water pump

I used a car intake with a truck pump. I just heated the pump housing with a torch and twisted the neck where i wanted, its just a press fit.

Re: water pump

You will need water pump spacers to make up the difference in offset of the accessory drive. There's a few that have done it over on ls1tech...

Re: water pump

Can also swap the pulley, but it's supposedly a huge pain...

Re: water pump

I think that's the idea of the extra wide pulley on this one?...

Re: water pump

Moose, I used a water pump from a 2002 camaro LS1 and used water pump spacers from a company called Dirty Dingo. I also used there idler relocation kit. Everything cleared great then. Only issue was getting the correct length belt.
