Anything worth saving on this 73?
Did a little trading and ended up with the 73 that I got my turbines off of. Body is shot, engine is probably locked and is an 80's 305. It's a manual trans, which would normally excite the heck out of me, but decided to keep my 79 an auto, so the wife can drive it too. Got it from a friend who said he thought it has 4.10 gears. If so, I will keep both axles. I already stole a front spring and will be pulling a few other little things. Seems a shame, but will eventually take it to scrap unless I find some who wants it. Would make a great donor for someone wanting to convert to full convertible...
I'll probably hang on to all the trans/transfer case parts. Just in case or to sell/trade... Tailgate, doors, seats and front clip are all rough, but on the ground there. Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device |

My opinion i would keep it do the 89 conversion that's what I did. Didn't spend to much my dad and I did the body work and everything else just go to the junkyard little by little start getting the things. Also a 2wd blazer are hard to fine too. Keep it and fix it up

If the windsheild is not cracked, I would keep it and the gasket if it looks ok. They are easy to remove, and from what I've read, not too difficult to install. I would keep the rear shackles for the front springs...never know when they might break if yo do any 4x4'ing. Brake booster and master cylinder, if anything you have a core ready to go when you need to buy new.
