Making progress on the 72 Custom Camper
Teeitup hooked me up with some nice driver quality woodgrain trim (thanks Randy!)and other than figuring out what to do with a rear bumper set up, some engine compartment work, and machining the rear wheels to accept the 5.1" centers, its starting to look real nice.
Figured I would share a few pictures from when I got it in January and how it looks now. Cant wait to get it on the road! |

Re: Making progress on the 72 Custom Camper
I really like this truck and hope that it doesn't leave the fleet. But if it does... call. Haha!
How's that square bodied 4x doing?

Re: Making progress on the 72 Custom Camper
Thanks and you'll be my first call Nate! I will hang on to this one a while but then you know me....LOL!
The 85 is doing good. Need some time to drive it to the farm for a weekend and swap it out with my old 72 C-20 farm truck I keep down there. Just got tired of getting stuck in wet grass.... Thanks for all the compliments y'all. |

Re: Making progress on the 72 Custom Camper
Looks great. I have always loved the C/20 Custom Campers. I miss having one and I guess I have to be second in line if you bump your head and decide to sell.

Re: Making progress on the 72 Custom Camper
Thanks Tim & Joe!
If I would, well lets say when I do decide to You will be on my short list with Nate. I like em too, but arent we supposed to like short bed 1/2 tons? I like them also but there is something appealing to me about these Custom Campers...They are just cool trucks. Last edited by Ozark Tim; 04-11-2012 at 03:04 PM. |
