gm fender markings

were on original fenders would there be a marking from gm? im thinking in the 80's they were stamped on the pinch weld on the back of the fender in front of the door but cant remember. thinking about goin and looking at a set off a truck but dnt wanna just do the tapping test to see if there foreign made lol

Don't do a tap test just measure the guage thickness. The repro ones are thinner than original. No matter who makes them. Basicly the repo suck
