Bad start to my day

Driving to work this morning at 445am in the pouring rain, in my dd s10 i thought my front tire popped. I lost control and started to spinout on the day. Ended up slamming into the center divider with the passenger corner of the bed. Slammed my neck back pretty hard. The damage to the bed isn't the problem but the rear window popped out and that area of the cab bent also so don't know if it's fixable to be able to get a reAr window back in. So now I Gita get my c notched finished up today sore back, neck and shoulder cuz I Gita get to work tomorrow. So theres my dad start to my day[IMG][/IMG]

Re: Bad start to my day

The big question is what kinda damage the frame mighta taken in the impact. The cab looks repairable, and from the pics the bed side could probably be replaced. But if the frame is bent, might be easier to just part out and purchase another.

Re: Bad start to my day

well the good news is i got the 64 together enough and brought it home. feels good to drive it again its been like 3 weeks since i drove it. im mexican, so of course i only have liability insurance! hahaha!! so it wont get totalled! and the only part of the driveline id want is the 5 speed. i like the mileage the 4 banger gets but it barely moves the s10. it wouldnt do anything in the 64

Re: Bad start to my day

You'll probably feel pretty beat up tomorrow, but the full effect probably won't be known until Friday or Saturday. Just try not to do anything "creative" before you know how really damaged you already are.

Re: Bad start to my day

you live in Cali you don't need a back window. glad you're alright. the way you build things you can take an old piece of scrap metal and a hammer and dolly and fix it
