Cool 15x10 295/50/15 other tire options

I'm currently running 295/50/15 all around. I think the 295's are bad on the front suspension, being so wide. What size tire can I use on the front, without looking out of place with the 295 in the rear. Just looking for something a little more narrow without giving up too much the leveled out look. I don't want the truck sitting up higher in the back. Thanks in advance for advice.

Are you going to keep the 10in rims on the front?

Yeah, only if I can't find a set of ralley wheels. Been looking for a 15x8 or 7 of what I already have. I actually love the look of the wide wheels n tires, but was told its not good in the front. So, my question is, will going with a more narrow tire make any difference? Thanks.

There are tons of trucks with 295s all the way around, if you like them on it, keep them. The only issue Im aware of with those size tires is they wander a little on rutted black top but if your not having any problems I wouldnt change them unless you wanted a new look.

Tires that wide are not what kills Chevrolet front ends, it's the offset on the wheel itself that destroys balljoints and control arm bushings. If the offset is real close to even (negative to positive) it does not matter how wide your wheel is, but conversely if you're running paco style with a huge negative offset then yes your front end will be trash, and it wont take long either. In conclusion if your running a 10 wide wheel with 5 inches of backspace then your front end will survive just fine for many years.

Funny I have all 8's but I want 2 10's for the back. Wish you were closer.

Should be lots of rally rims around. I went to the local pick n pull today and got a complete set of 15x8's with trim rimgs and center caps for $7 (seven) each! They had just come in on a smashed up c10 yesterday and I snagged them. They are going in for sandblasting tomorrow. I love pick n pull pricing! Its about 10x cheaper than any local auto wrecker.
