I have a NOS tailgate with the GMC logo stamped into it thta I'm lookig to sell. I will get pictures tomorrow when I get to the shop. I will also throw in a small chevrolet tailgate band. Looking to get 300.00 plus the ride. My zip is 29483 for shipping quotes.

Is this the early or late design? The center logo gates went from 76-80 then 81-87.

heres some insight on differences between 73-74, 75-76, 77-80 and starting in 81 the bottom edge of the gate was no longer rounded instead it was a flat folded seam edge.
i would guess this is 73-80 because i believe in 81 they also started offsetting the chevrolet and gmc stamped logo to the drivers side instead of centering them.

Can anyone confirm for me… from my searching/reading (good info in the above linked tailgate thread) it sounds like all of the tailgates for our trucks are pretty much interchangeable as long as you use the hardware from the appropriate year (specifically the mid/late 70's gates)?

Can I get a price for this gate shipped to zip 48327? Thanks!

Also, is it possible to get a better picture showing the bottom lip/side profile shot just to verify what 70's range gate this is exactly (the picture above looks like its sitting on a piece of metal which hides this area). See above linked thread pictures for example.
