Gas tank hose and hood hinge ?

For my 78 K10 with dual tanks, does anyone know where to find the fuel filler hoses to replace the originals. I don't know if I'm searching the wrong name but I've had no luck finding them.

And hood hinges, I just bent my second hood. I'm going to order a new one and was just wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to the old spring design, or can they be rebuilt in a way that makes them a bit softer in operation.

Also if any local las vegans with K series trucks are looking for parts, pick a part on lamb has 4-5 trucks right now with some really nice running gear, parts.

Re: Gas tank hose and hood hinge ?

LMC Truck has the filler tube for 19.95

Part number is 32-3302 for a 75-78

They also have a hinge brace extension for 19.95 that eliminates the hood bend issue.

Part number 38-0783

The big thing with those hinges is lube, use a good quality long lasting lube and hit every moving part, should work like a charm.

Happy hunting.

Re: Gas tank hose and hood hinge ?

I use Wurth HHS2000 it's a real good lubricant that flows out like water and lubes better than grease after the solvent flashes off. Go easy till you get a feel for how much to use because a little goes a VERY long way.
