Pretty decent set. Have some paint fade and a few small dings/scratches. These were later caps that i had the blue vinyl cut for. $115 shipped in the lower 48, a little more elsewhere. Money order preferred, but have paypal.

They are for 69-72 with the blue bowtie. 73 to 77 or so had the yellow bowtie. Technically the 69-72 caps were also chrome with would split on the edges. In 73 they changed to stainless steel which these are.

I remember being told blue were 3/4 ton and the yellow were 1/2 ton, but that is incorrect?

That is incorrect. All 69-72 caps had the blue, and 73 and newer went to yellow regardless of 1/2 or 3/4 or 1 ton. 1/2 ton caps are approx 10 1/2" across and 3/4 would be about 12" across.

OK, That clears it up. The P.O. stated the yellow were correct for 72 but he was not right. Now I need 2 blue ones! (4x4)

NICE CAPS!! I put an NOS set of blue bowties on the back of my 1/2 ton 4x4 and they were dull in a matter of months..the later stainless caps like these hold a shine much better than the chrome steel version.

one more way to tell 3/4 from 1/2 ton caps in a picture where you have no relative size reference is that the 1/2 ton caps all have a concave black center with bowtie (i.e. like all the ones pictured here) whereas all 3/4 ton caps have a convex center (i.e. the black center with the bow tie bulges out).
