Door hinge rebuild friction pads , who has the best price
I am in the process of putting in new hinge pins and rebuilding my door hinges but they need new friction pads anyone know the best place to get them , i get alot of stuff from Classic parts but they are $29 a piece there ..that just seems really high to me , seeing that for the same price i can buy a complete new hinge from them ? Any experience with the aftermarket hinges, should i just go that way ?

I always make the pads for the door stops out of brake pad material. Easy project and the replacements hold up for a very long time. Worn pads can be used so that you can find the approximate thickness needed.
