rear gears

Anyone know what is the common rear gear ratio for a six/350c would be the glovebox stickers gone and I havent had time to pull rear cover it has a 5.3 and im getting ready to swap a 700r4 in and wanna get an idea of rear gears .by the way the trucks a 81 gmc shortbed

Most of the sixs I've seen come with 4.10s or 4.11s depending on the axle. I think some might have gotten 3.73s tho.

I assume 2wd: 2.73 base; 3.08 optional.



For 4wd = 3.42 base with 3.73 optional.
