My new custom speaker box
I put a head unit in my truck today and I needed something to put my speakers in until I get new kick panels. I didn't have time to run to Lowe's and build a box, so I whipped up this beauty. It's not great, but it sounds surprisingly good for what it is. I guess all those years of watching Macgyver are finally paying off.

LOL, i was so confused.
Saw the picture of the speakers, and was waiting for another pic to load.... How's the sound quality?

Re: My new custom speaker box
Believe it or not, not bad. I have good speakers, which makes a difference, but I was surprised at how good they sound. It'll do for a while until I get the time to get them mounted.

Re: My new custom speaker box
You should duct tape it to seal it. LOL

Re: My new custom speaker box
I didn't think of that. My kick panels are in, so I'll be mounting them later this week.

Re: My new custom speaker box
They're not under the seat, although I could slide them in. They're sitting on the floorboard on the passenger side.

Re: My new custom speaker box
Have you got the kick panels installed? Post a pic up if you do.

Re: My new custom speaker box
I would but the kick panels are junk. I'll be posting a review in just a few minutes.

I'm looking at kick panels too, so the more reviews the better
