1971 4x4 Blazer Frame

Selling my spare '71 4x4 frame which previously belonged to Kurt Linder (VTBlazer) in Vermont. The frame was POR15d a few years ago and is in good shape. Very little to no rust. Just needs to be cleaned up a bit. Right now it has dust all over it so the pics aren't great. But it's a good solid frame. As seen in one of the pics below, Kurt drilled an additional set of holes for the motor support in order to move the motor forward a bit. Trans crossmember support and motor crossmember support are included. They're in solid shape too, but they show a little wear. The two rear-most leaf spring mounts were removed from the frame to accomodate a 1st Gen Shackle Flip (which I have for here… http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=519868 …for $125). So new ones will need to be bolted on.

Asking $500 for frame and crossmembers.

One last shot or I have to take this thing to the scrap yard. It's taking up valuable space in my driveway. New price = $250.

Good idea. I just didn't want to sit on it though because I have received ZERO interest on it. So I figured there must not be a demand.

I could sell the one in the pic above. Will that work? What do they go for? Maybe I'll sell the cross members and mounting brackets off…

I think I have an extra.. Does not have the sections that go the top rail of the frame though.

Re: 1971 4x4 Blazer Frame

Did not see the cut til I scraped it a bit and one mount hole is blown out. Not sure what it is from but measures the same width (33") as my 72 and 70 seems to be a little higher mounting but I lower mine anyway to get better clearance and angle on the driveshaft.

Re: 1971 4x4 Blazer Frame

I think it will cost $50 for shipping alone. It's pretty big and heavy as far as shipping goes.

Do you still have the rear spring hangers (front of rear axle) Let me know if you would be willing to sell them.
