I need some bed floor material... enough to do the whole floor, but I don't want to buy a floor... just a sheet of the material. anyone have an idea?

Lookup metal salvage yards in your yellow pages. Some of them sell off premium pieces instead of melting them.

^^And move to 1980! Seems like buying a bed floor complete would be the way to go cost and time wise. Are you doing a raised floor or stock?

Re: bed foor sheet metal

I've thought about it, there's absolutely no cost savings.... sheetmetal would be way cheaper.

Re: bed foor sheet metal

Bed floor repair sections are available in 1/4 sections and some smaller patches.
If the whole floor is gone the bolt flanges & crosspieces are probably wasted. It'll be less $ and much less headache to get the whole shebang.

There was someone selling diamond plate for a good price in Michigan. I will see if I can find the ad.
