Anyone have a wood 'bedliner'?

Hi guys,

Is anyone running a wood overlay on their steel bedfloor truck? I don't really want a bed mat or bedliner, so I was thinking of taking some 3/4 inch oak plywood or even planks and finishing them nice.

does this sound stupid?

There's a kit out there somewhere for that I think.

Re: Anyone have a wood 'bedliner'?

I have two Horkey show decks in my two 72 Chevy's. I finished one and installed it in my shortbed 16 years ago. It still looks great. I bought the other one a long time ago and am just now getting back to finishing it...hope to get it finished soon. I've been too busy selling parts for my customers' projects to get time to work on my own.

Re: Anyone have a wood 'bedliner'?

That is exactly what I was thinking...WAY too nice for my truck and about 10x more than I want to spend, but that is the direction I want to go in.

Anyone have any thing home brewed?

Thanks guys!

I think those SS strips are more than $300 alone!

Cool. I try to hit the swap meets there each year too. Maybe I'll get lucky
