Pics of small projects

hey all,

just working on a lot of the small things now that i FINALLY have the truck running( been driving it 3 weeks now and nothing has stranded me or broke.......yet )

any way here is a few pics of some of the small projects iv'e been doing.

here's the stereo, its a Panasonic cd-player-it plays cdr's cdrw's mp3 cd's and wmv cd's. It's got a hell of a neat display too( it's bright blue, it lights up the interior of the truck at night. Now i know alot of people say that you shouldn't cut the dash but what the hell im not building this truck for somebody else im building it for me. besides i can't stand AM radio

I made sure and took my time cutting the hole so it was a little small rather than cutting too big, its a lot easier to file it out to fit than to have to weld metal in there to fix a gaping hole

dude, that CD player almost looks right in that grey and red dash. mad props to that. Good job, man. Definitely a good job.

the plywood bed turned out pretty damn good too. in fact it looks so good I plan on doing that to mine.

love the sticker, the paint, the drivetrain... love it all. great truck. rock on.

Warbones- SignDude made the sticker, he's a sign and decal maker here in Medford. You can choose from just about any size font, and color and have it say just about anything.(my dad had one made too,he's an avid fisherman. It says "Salmon, The Other Pink Meat" )

68_GMC_910- Thanks, thats part of the reason why i got that cd player.I took quite a while just standing at the stereo display at Circuit City trying to find one that would match with the interior, the Panasonic stereos just seemed to be styled right.

Would you believe that piece of plywood cost almost $40

looks great,

it's good to see that somebody is making some progress.

I planned on working on it tonight, but a tornado passed about 4 miles to the west of us. i spent my whole evening watching the sky and clearing off the city streets for my elderly neighbors.
