air bag installed height
I have been searching about this topic,I have also read recent threads and I thought I would ask specifics on my situation.I have never used air bags before but have used coil over shocks and the installed height on those are important so I figure it is similar to air springs.I have air lift 58130 tapered air spring for the rear, they measure 4.5 inches in dia.I have air lift 5815 in the front, they measure 6.5 dia.The front ones are double convoluted similar to a firestone 2500 or so.I looked on air lifts web site and did not see the info I am looking for.I will set the suspension at ride height and fab the mounting in order to get the correct installed spring height.I know there will be some variation do to weight and such but I need something to get me in the ball park.I am woorking on a 66 c-10.Thanks.

Re: air bag installed height
Front bags you should be in a range of 4.5 - 5 inches installed ride height
Rear bags you should be in a range of 5 - 6 inches installed ride height |
