Anybody Run 17" FJ Cruiser Steel Wheels?

They look like the offset if pretty good; from what I could find they are 4.5 b/s inches on a 7.5" wide wheel. The center opening looks like it would have no problem clearing our truck's hubs. It also looks like the rims could be reversed for ~3.5" backspacing on the rear for a wider lip. Anybody got pics of them mounted on a truck?

I sent him a PM and asked to email me one. Now.... we wait.
I think doing the small tabs on them so that you could mount an old dog dish would look killer!!

Re: Anybody Run 17" FJ Cruiser Steel Wheels?

Check out the way Delmo does it on his billet wheels that he did on a couple trucks. It should work on this one two.

i have a 2006 toyota tundra and replaced stock wheels. i measured the stock wheels and could not find anythig that would make them not fit. 4 1/2 back spaceing and the center hole was about 1/4 in. bigger than the wheels i have on mine.i did not mount them thow.

They can be made to work if you use spacers but there's way too much backspacing for them to just bolt on. The center opening isn't big enough to clear the hubs either. Another thing is, I don't think they look right without any lip- the centers come nearly all the way to the outside edge of the rim.

The backspacing and larger center opening should make FJ wheels bolt right up.

Re: Anybody Run 17" FJ Cruiser Steel Wheels?

I have a set of wheels from the 90s that I bought to use the tires for my DD. They had been on a toyota but the wheels fit our trucks as well. Funny that Toyota has such big hubs, even still.

I really can't remember, I took them off to put other wheels on. I think something like 245/45? 55? If I get a chance to swing by my storage bin I'll look

Running the FJ wheels with an early 90's Chevy Center Cap on my '65. No spacers. Tires are 245/45 R17.
