Oil Problem - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I've noticed an oil stain on the side of the
intake manifold just below the carb on
both sides of the manifold. This has been
happening ever since I installed the
new Holley manifold. Has anyone else
had/seen this problem? Cure?

Are you sure its oil and not fuel ?maybe running out around the butterfly, does the intake have the exaust byway that warms the intake may be discoloring your intake?

Try using silicone sealant on the center bolts on each side as Thats pretty comon.

when installing intake manifold you MUST use thread sealer or you get an oil leak
