Based on prior experience, and being good friends with an individual who works for ProComps parent company... I would expect these springs to level out closer to 4" of lift rather than 6".

A lot of factors can vary the actual lift height of a leaf spring... bed weight (long / short box) any extra-duty bumpers that can be heavier, shackle lengths, and any spacers that might be in between your axle and the spring pack itself. Plus the leafs will settle a little with time and travel. ProComp brand isn't the best brand on the market for leaf springs and they will settle some... Not trying to knock your purchase plans, just speaking from experience.

Also, just FYI... you can purchase these same springs from Summit Racing for almost $100 less that the quoted price on the link you posted.

i mean as long as it doesnt settly more than an inch im fine with it. i called up pro comp and they told me that the ones on summit label a 2 inch lift would actually give my truck a 4 inch lift and its labeled wrong on there so i ordered those, since i have the 4 inch springs for the front already.

im on a budget this was my truck before i started the resto. It had blocks in the rear with leaf springs that were busted on each side. 4 inch lift and 35's

Cool... I'm glad you got the info you needed. If they settle a noticeable amount over time you can always throw a spacer in on the rear axle or install longer shackles to get the rear of the truck back to the height it needs to be.

Good luck on your build... My 79 GMC is a lowrider, but I drive a lifted JEEP daily to get my 4x4 fix! haha..
