Something Good

We always hear the horror stories on the board about how board members are getting ripped off by other board members. Well here is a postive story. I bought an item from Chevygraveyard (GMC383) on ebay. I didn't know at the time he was a board member and he didn't know I was one. There was a problem from the start with shipping to the wrong address. But GMC383 went way out of his way to make this deal good. It's been about a month but he stuck with it and made it right. I would buy from him again in a minute. Thanks again. (jrsr38)

i personally havent really dealt with anyone here but if i wasnt broke i definately would think twice about buying from 99% of the board members on here.

I have sold parts to 2 different members, and bought parts from 1 member, and i am going to pick up a set of double hump heads from a member this weekend. So far, all deals have gone great. I have always truthfully described the items i have sold, the buyer has always sent the money, and the part i bought was a good deal, and in good shape. So far, so good. I hope it stays like this.

I hope to be buying a parts truck soon (i may have found a wrecked '71 or '72 with a lot of good parts), and i plan to take what i want off of it, sell the rest to the board, and then give away whatever i can't sell. So, i should be having many more dealings on the board.

i have bought parts from several members on this board. they are all great guys and shipped what they said they were shipping and described then very accurately. i purchased a gas pedal set up from a 71-72 pickup, coil spring clamps and bolts, harmonic damper for small block chevy, 1/2 standard rear springs, and finally disc brake set up. these guys were great to deal with and i got good parts from them. nu272, txgary, 67sss, ironhorse, and red450ih. i hope they don't get upset with me posting there screen names.

As I always say " If your not a man of your word what kind of man are you". Deals don't always go smoothly but I always try to make things right.
