How many still have stock tank in place?
Just curious as to how many people have left it the way GM engineered it?

Mines there, but only till i get the $$ for an under bed tank. Sorry, beyond the fact that I just don't like sitting in front of a "bomb" I also smoke and my kids will ride in that truck...... Not while I'm smoking tho!

12th....Had a 66 GMC back in the highschool days and when the fuel gauge was on the E (empty) I would in a slow forward motion hit the brakes hard and hear the fuel splashing in the tank...Thats how I knew if I still had fuel left to make it to the pumps....lol..

I still have it in 3 of my trucks.
only reason I would have for changing it to a rear tank is to shave the filler neck off the cab, which is what happened to my 60/61

#18 here, I want to keep my spare under the truck where it belongs and not have floating around in the bed of the truck. I also have a receiver hitch and plan on using the hitch a LOT.
