1969 C10 Side Mirrors
I'm sure this is an easy question. On my 1969 C10 I ordered reproduction mirrors from LMC. The reproduction mirrors have three holes, but the ones on my doors only have two.
I would rather have the reproduction mirrors because they are bigger. LMC said these mirrors should fit all models. Is it as simple as drilling the third and final hole in the door and screwing it in? I will post pictures when I get home if I'm not making myself clear. |

I was wrong, it doesn't explicitly say that they fit all models. But reproduction implies that it should. I got 38-5858,59...but my mirrors look a hell of alot like 38-5850. How would you know what originally cam with the truck? |

there was so many different size mirrors that came on these trucks and you can make any of them work but if you are going all original i guess would have to go by the parts list that are in the glove compartment . they sometimes tell which ones were on the truck. or if the original holes are in the door you can tell you.

Ok, may be drilling holes. That's what I do best anyways...

No, there was nothing like that. Just a gasket. I assumed the screws would go directly into the door.
I'm not going to be able to use these mirrors because they won't cover up the holes I already have, and I'm not having that door painted again. |
