my '85 k10 build
i've been working on this truck for quite a while now, i'm just not that great at remembering to take pics... i'm still trying to find some before pics. i started out with a bone-stock 1985 Chevy K-10 with a 305/700r4.
what i've done so far: -Motor 350 block .060 overbore, factory crank & rods hypercuetic pistons w/ 9:4 comp. stock vortec heads flat tappet cam 204/215 dur, 420/443 lift jegs 331 high rise intake holley 600 headers (wrapped) w/ 2-1/4" exhaust & glasspacks summit HEI w/ 8mm wires @ 14* base, 32* total MSD Street Avenger CD ignition -Tranny TCI manual valve corvette servo beast shell 2k converter more...i'll update later -rebuilt front end -6" rough country suspension lift -35x12.50x15 mastercraft mud terrains -kenwood stereo -audiovox alarm/keyless entry Future Mods: -4.56 gears ASAP -subwoofers -15x10 ralley wheels -spray-in bedliner -tonneau cover -limited slip rear -nos?

Nice work! That engine looks clean. I'm building your truck's cousin. It looks real similar except it's a stepside.

the holley was being finnicky, so i rebuilt it today...i had a pretty bad hestiation off idle i couldnt get rid of beforehand, and this afternoon i was spinning the 35s on dry asphalt even with my whimpy gears... so i'm pretty pleased with the results
