Rear bed panel
Hi Guys,
I am not happy with the end result of my rear bed panel. Truck is painted and Linex sprayed in bed. Has anbody gotten these panels removed without damaging the bed sides? I realize I must move bed back and pull all the bolts out and than pull one of the bed sides away. Should I leave it? Will I maybe crack the paint in the bed sides? How rigid are they? |

Re: Rear bed panel
it's actually not that hard to get off. Obviously, all the bolts on that panel come off, and the maybe the front 3 or so bolts on the bed-side come out. Should give you enough room to pull it out. Assuming, of course, the bolts weren't rust to hell like mine were.

Re: Rear bed panel
Did yours have a steel floor? Im sure the bed side has to have more hardware removed for it to come apart no?

Re: Rear bed panel
Nope, wood floor. I don't know what the difference is between wood and steel.
