Question Looking at this steering wheel whatcha think??

I was looking for a steering wheel for my build and ran across this one. I like the looks and it seems the adapter/horn button would work??? I have a new column from Kevin's Classics and just wondered what everyone thinks of this one? Know of any problems getting this to work?

Thanks for looking... Here's a link to the info-

If you like it,buy it. The adapter/mounting kit will make it fit.

It's a good deal including the adapter...but remember the adapter pushes the wheel another 2 1/2" or so closer to you than the stock wheel....to me it is way too close...since the stock wheel is already too close...

Depends on the dish of the wheel. The stock wheel essentially has the adapter built in to it, this wheel may be pretty close to the stock wheel when compared side-by-side.

good point...I don't think that wheel has much dish so it might work out almost factory...although I'd still like to find a wheel bolting directly up w/out dish to pick up a couple inches of room and arm reach I don't like my arm all bent up driving

It's a 14... I was looking for 15 but no luck yet except the 350.00 jobs...

I moved the coloumn in closer to the dash so I should be good. It's easy enough to change if I need to move it again. After all is said and done I should be close to where it was from stock really. It had a grant wood grain on it before which I like but just to much dish. Still trying to figure out what wheel to get...

Re: Looking at this steering wheel whatcha think??

I think I'm going to get a Corvette type 3 spoke wheel for the GMC. The 17" factory wheel on it now is just too big. I'm about 6'4" and most of it is legs .. with no tilt .. so the ole GMC is tough to get in and out of, plus the original wheel is shot. I will probably put a tilt (FR or Ididit) in the 68 with Billet Specialties wheel and it will have buckets too so we'll see I guess where that goes.

Good looking wheel though ! you ordered it yet?
