Might have figured out my problems....

Well i think i may have found some of my problems on my chev. ive been fighting to get the transmission to shift right for a while now. i did a lsx/4l60e swap in my 72 blazer and used a early 90's suberban tcase(cant remember the model right at this moment). took it into the college and see if the teacher there could maybe find something in the computer but its running fine. come to find out the 4k pulse generator was only putting out 2 1/2 mph and transmission wasnt shifting at all past 2nd. got to talking to Firebirdjones on here(great guy to talk to, knows a lot on this stuff). started narrowing stuff down. finally i remembered that the early 90's had a computer as well. come to find out i got shafted and the place i bought the t case from had a early 80's tail housing on it and the one its supposed to have has a plug in it. so thats where im at now. hopefully that problem solves these d&*m issues and gets the blazer on the road!!

Re: Might have figured out my problems....

Good luck with it, sounds like your on the right path. I'm using an 89 241C from a suburban and put the Advanced Adapters relucotor wheel and plug on my 4L60E shaft, I'm a ways from running it, this morning i pulled the chassis out of the paint booth and dropped the engine, trans, transfer case back into the frame for the last time....
