82 K30 Resto
Don't see to many 1-tons getting rehabbed so I figured I would throw my project up.Had it about a year now, slowly but surely getting it done
This is how it was when I picked it up...has a 6.2 diesel and th400 trans, also put a Banks sidewinder on it. Cab has been fixed (rockers and corners), just needs a little tweaking and some color. Motor an trans weren't in it yet. Put the motor in the frame to do a test fire and make sure it ran. Banks turbo setup on the motor This spring I started getting the cab ready and put some color on it. Nice dent in the cab argh, can't figure out a easy way to get it out and it will have a flatbed on it so I am not to worried about it. This is the dumping flatbed that is going on it. Inner fender wells done. Gonna use the 89-91 burb grill This is where I am at so far, scored a tilt column and decent instrument cluster a few days ago. Some of my time is taken up by this truck.... it's a 84 K20 with a 6.2 and sm465. Had to replace the motor last fall, previous owner blew it up.I will post updates as I go, love all these project threads here they are great to follow. Also looking for a crew cab dually to redo.
