Saddle Tanks
I bought saddle tanks ovet the weekend and can"t figure out how to physically put them into their spot. I have a long bed with leaf springs.Does andy body have a clue as to slide them into where they belong? I have a picture on my photo bucket of the tanks.

My 4x4 (long bed with leaf springs) has one on the driver's side. I simply set it below where it needs to go, put it on a few blocks so I could slide my floor jack under there, then jacked it into place.
I don't recall dealing with any issues with the leafs getting in the way. Maybe your truck is too low? If so put your truck on jack stands or similar.

These are aftermarket tanks, the rear fill is a giveaway. They should slide vertically into place without too much trouble. Having your truck on a lift will make it a lot easier though. It can often be done on the ground, but jackstands and rears off give working and looking room. Did you get the hardware ae well? How clean are they? Rust can be a real headache. Good luck! Oh, and don't forget the cans over the fillers.
