Green Interior Question

Hey guys I have a question about green interior and I can't seem to find anything already posted. I have a 67 C-10 LWB, light green with 4611AA Green Vinyl interior. My question is what reproduction color is the same as factory? Between Ecklers/LMC/Brothers I can't really figure it out based on their pictures. Am I looking for "light green", "medium green", "turquoise", "aqua", or "metallic green"? I don't want to purchase seat upholstery and play the send it back until it's right game. Thanks for all the help.

Re: Green Interior Question

I think you have the same light green as in my 70. Unfortunatly it is not reproduced. I think the only green being produced is olive green, but don't hold me to that. When I do my interior I'm gonna try the vinyl dye, or you could look on the parts board for some original stuff.

Re: Green Interior Question

I have the same issue. My truck is 518 medium green and I'd like to know the exact color of the original interior upholstery. Is there a color chart somewhere that will tell us what we want to know?

Re: Green Interior Question

That vinyl and OE cloth is only available from SMS fabrics.

Last I looked, none of the vendors are reproducing correct 67/68 seat covers in light green and the Custom version with the cloth insert.

I am saving up for all the materials to be purchased from SMS, then I plan to have the seat covers made by a local upholsterer.

Pretty spendy too I may add, but it really sets off the interior of a 503 green rig.

Re: Green Interior Question

@ Fldawg, your charcoal interior does look good, and originally that's the direction I was going, but in the last year or so I've gone to putting the "light green" back into it.

@ vectorit, I agree with you, there is something about that original interior with the 503 trucks that really looks good. That's the reason I'm worried about getting the wrong upholstery and taking it in the wrong direction. Thanks for the heads up about SMS.

If anyone knows who originally restored the truck that Holley built, I would like to know where they got their seat upholstery.

Re: Green Interior Question

@ Fldawg, thanks but my one visor is the only thing that doesn't need to be replaced.

@ knsmodels, that is a beautiful interior
