I think these were designed for the 99-06 and 07-12 six lug truck market.
I would imagine they have a small center bore to match the late model truck hubs.

I'd like to see how the "cheesy" center hub/lug nut cover looks in person,...

I'd say it's probably more for the new trucks for people that want a five spoke wheel without having the lugnuts being seen cutting into the spokes. I have torque thrust on my 06 silverado but think a 5 spoke would look better than the 6 spokes.

The weird thing,... these new Coys have 5 "fake" lug nuts between the spokes.
Only the high dollar wheels companies (Like Schott, Budnik, Billet Specialtes) can pull off a "covered lug" centercap and make it look good.
(aka no visible parting line)

I wonder why Coys has no actual picture of the wheel.
You know there is a prototype somewhere.

No offense, but I guess I don't understand that reasoning. Might as well spend another $1000 plus the time to swap to 5 lug? I could possibly fit the rims in my latest project's budget...but couldn't justify another 1000 for the swap. I have rebuilt drums all the way around and it stops fine...I'm adding a power booster but that's all I'm planning on this particular truck... I've had discs (including 4 wheel) on other projects but this is a lower buck flip...spending an extra 1000 is out of the question. As of now the truck will have 15" rally wheels...but if these are around the same price as the other coys (or hopefully less because of the style) I'd be interested..

I would only be interested in the wheels if the caps aren't noticeable...I agree if it's obvious from a distance that they are fake lugs and caps that it would be "cheesy"

My guess is they needed the fake ones because it probably fits over a real one. If not then they would look much better without.
