Big Block valve covers....
I'm at the swap meet here in Canfield Ohio and have came across two different sets of valve covers that I like and have a question because my truck is not here to check.......The covers I want are the aluminum welded comp covers that are 1/8" thick on the bottom and my issue is....they have a short pair that needs the oil fill hole and the breather hole in the other one cut out and they do not have a baffel obviously. The tall pair has a baffle and both oil and breather holes are present. My truck is a 1972 chevy 1/2 ton with the factory 402 with the ridiculous drum brakes for now at all 4 corners. (whole nother story why there not disc in front) and I dont know if i will have clearance issues with anything if I get the Tall covers that I really want. Any help soon would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Big Block valve covers....
I use the small booster on my trucks and i have tall v/c on them,,, im a little confused though cause all trucks 71 and later had disc in the front,,,if u do have a 69 truck then there is a good chance u have the smaller booster,,I think they r 9" verses the 11"
